Lights Out<\/a> <\/strong>introduced the Engineers<\/strong> role that allowed Crewmates to use vents, offering new strategic gameplay. <\/p>The other big highlight was Lights Out Mode<\/strong> which added a tug-of-war-inspired, dynamic game mode where all Crewmates become Engineers. Engineers had to navigate the map using vents to complete tasks swiftly, while an Impostor attempts to thwart their efforts. DUM Justice<\/a> added glove cosmetics to Among Us VR<\/em> for the first time, offering stylish ways to fail at your tasks and point the blame during the next Emergency Meeting.<\/p>Adding to the chaos was the addition of a new role, The Vigilante<\/strong>. This role had the Kill ability, which could be performed on anyone in the game. However, you better be sure about your kill, because choose the wrong Bean and you might be facing ejection instead. This is no longer simply a matter of Crewmates versus Impostors \u2014 it\u2019s BvE (Beans vs. the environment)!<\/p>Entire wings would go into lockdown on their own, locking you in to confined quarters with impenetrable door lasers. Lights went haywire, impacting your visibility and ability to keep an eye on that conveniently placed vent on the wall. Players could tilt their heads as they walk by haunted portraits to unveil hidden images. Or, they could operate the old-timey camera and strike a pose as photos are instantly posted on the wall behind. The new gameplay twist introduced the role of the Deputy<\/strong>, which was randomly assigned during each emergency meeting. This new role had the power of judge, jury, and executioner and was solely responsible for selecting the bean for ejection after the group debates. <\/p>Adding to the complexity, Impostors could also be granted the Deputy role, giving them an extra chance to eliminate an innocent Crewmate. And don't think you could just stand around as the Deputy, neither.
