Since then, the app has been widely received one of the ways zoos and aquariums can adopt in order to attract and retain the younger generations. Both WTAE Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette ran stories about how the app can relate to the younger generations, particularly Generation Y (Millennials) and Gen Z. Laura Gething, communications manager of the zoo is quoted saying, We're reimagining what this experience can be for that more screen-minded individual.
